Hannes Öberg, born 1991 in Sunne, Sweden.

He started studying singing at the age of 11 for the Soprano and Vocal Coach Gunilla Hallgren in Sunne, which he kept on doing for the following 5 years.
   After Highschool he moved from Sunne to Karlstad, where he studied music at Sundstagymnasiet and sang for Organist, Conductor and Vocal Coach Mårten Engdahl. It was Mr. Engdahl that 2008 opened the doors to the classical music. Two months later Hannes sang Bass soli in J. S. Bachs Advent cantata and after that everything happened very quickly. He sang more and more soli parts in big and small cantatas and oratorie all over the province Värmland and in spring 2010 he got accepted at  Vadstena folkhögskola, or Vadstena pre college music school, where he studied two year chamber music for the vocal coaches Anders Düring and Monica Thomasson. 


2012 Hannes got accepted at the Bachelor program at University college of opera in Stockholm.
He studied there for three years for the tenor and vocal coach Erik Årman.
   The years at the university were filled with fantastic opportunities to work with great orchestras, directors and conductor from all over Scandinavia and has even had the privilege of singing a private lieder concert for the court and the Swedish Royal family.
   2014 Hannes debuted at the Royal Opera in Stockholm as Don Juan in there new opera "My brother Don Juan" and 2015 Hannes got accepted for the two years Masters program at the University College of Opera in Stockholm. After his Masters Degree 2017  Hannes role debuted as Valentin in Faust at Norrlandsoperan in Umeå.

Hannes studied voice and chamber music 
Vadstena pre college music schoolfrom 2010-2012 finished his bachelors degree in 2015 and subsequently his masters degree in 2017 at
University College of Opera in Stockholm where he studied for the tenor and vocal coach
Erik Årman.
In 2014 Hannes debuted at the Royal Opera in Stockholm as the role of Don Juan at the world
premiere of the opera My Brother is Don Juan (Brommare). He has also performed roles such
as Valentin in Faust (Gounod) 2017, Guglielmo in Cosí fan tutte (Mozart) 2015 and Il Conte in Nina, o
sia La pazza per amore (Paisiello) 2016.
Outside of the opera stage, he has performed a great number of Liederabends and several
oratorios, such as; Messiah (Händel), Requiem (Fauré), Krönungsmesse (Mozart), Der Tod
Jesu (Graun) amongst others.
